Temperature Controlled vs. Non-Climate Controlled

Temperature Controlled storage units maintain a temperature between 65 and 78 degrees year-round by using air conditioning and heating. At Big Tex, each unit is maintained at the appropriate temperature. Items to store in Temperature Controlled units include electronics, clothing, furniture, books or paper products, antiques, candles or other items subject to damage by temperature extremes.

Non-Climate Controlled storage is like a garage. It is not cooled or heated. Items you currently store in your attic or garage can be stored in our Non-Climate Controlled units.
