Pain-Free Move In
To save you time and effort, use of one of our Big Tex Moving Trucks is complimentary with a qualifying rental (one-time free truck rental at move-in only). In addition, platform trucks and dollies are available for transporting your property from the vehicle to your new unit.
To make that transition as easy as possible, we provide covered loading zones, motion activated sliding glass doors, and large freight elevators that can stay open as long as needed with key input. We also understand that sometimes customers need some flexibility while moving into a new storage unit, which is why we offer 24-hour access the day of move-in to help them or their movers accomplish the task at hand.
Experienced Staff to Assist You
Our experienced and professional staff members help make your move into our storage facility as stress-free as possible. Along with our move-in features, our professional staff looks at other ways to provide the best experience to our customers throughout their lease. We accommodate customer requests when the need arises, and work tirelessly to bring them peace of mind.
During office hours, which significantly overlap with access hours, the on-site facility manager can assist you with any issues or concerns you may have with your storage unit. Our staff also works hard to ensure the leasing process goes as quickly as possible, often completing these transactions under less than 10 minutes in-person, over the phone, or by email.
After hours, managers have the ability to view camera surveillance of the facilities from their iPads to make sure that everything is safe and sound. In addition, managers can also accept deliveries to your unit on your behalf and keep them in a safe location until you take receipt.

Flexible Terms and Payment
We understand that extra storage space can either be a long or short-term need, which is why our rental agreements are strictly month-to-month — no long-term lease or commitment needed. Leases can be taken care of in less than 10 minutes over the phone or email, and begin the day you move in to your unit at Big Tex Self Storage.
No deposits are required, just a one-time administration fee. There are no hidden costs as we give our customers the option to purchase self storage insurance through Big Tex if so desired, pad locks, and other specifics. In addition, we offer convenient online payment options through our customized tenant account manager, which allows our customers to make a payment, view payment history, and email the facility manager. Customers also have the option to set up "no late fee guarantee" auto payments by using a credit or debit card securely on-file.
Moving can be hectic and sometimes you don't always have all the supplies you need on hand. To accommodate our customers' needs, our on-site packing and moving supply store carries small, medium, large, extra-large and wardrobe-sized boxes, as well as tape, wrapping paper, bubble sheets, packing peanuts, dish and glass protection packs, and disc locks for storage units. As an add-on, we can also provide and install racking systems to make storing files, documents, and other items more organized and convenient.
