Pricing & Promotion Terms

Prices for our products and services are subject to change without notice.

Promotional offers are available to new customers only and are limited to one offer per household. Promotional pricing is not available for transfers or additional storage spaces. Offers are subject to specific units, availability, and other restrictions. Discounts begin the month the rental agreement is initiated.

Advertised rental rates are introductory, discounted, and promotional in nature. They are subject to availability and may change at any time. Advertised rental rates are not guaranteed for any set period of time and may be increased with a 30-day written notice. Advanced payment of monthly rent does not preclude from rent increases.

A one-time administrative fee of $24 applies to all new rentals. Other restrictions, taxes, and fees may also apply. Please refer to the rental agreement for complete terms and conditions.

A reservation is required to guarantee promotional pricing, and the rental must be completed within seven days of the reservation. Pricing is subject to change at any time.

Actual unit sizes may vary from the approximate dimensions provided. Online rentals and reservations do not guarantee unit availability. Customers are encouraged to inspect the unit prior to completing a rental.

Temperature and humidity levels may vary within all storage spaces, including temperature-controlled units.

Online pricing is available only for reservations and rentals completed online.

Refunds

All rental transactions are final. Once a storage unit or space is rented, customers are not entitled to a refund for any unused portion of the paid rental period, including prepaid rent.

The Administrative Fee is non-refundable.

Customers may rent on a month-to-month basis. The rental period begins on the date the lease is signed and continues through the last day of the applicable month. Rent is due on the first (1st) day of each month. Rent will not be prorated for move-outs.

If an account is overcharged due to an error, the applicable amount will be refunded once the discrepancy has been reported and verified.

All merchandise sales are final. No refunds will be issued for merchandise purchases.

Insurance Requirements

Insurance coverage is required for all storage rentals. Customers may choose to provide proof of their own personal insurance policy in lieu of enrolling in our Tenant Insurance Program coverage.

If proof of personal insurance is not provided by the last day of the month, the customer will automatically be enrolled in our minimum Tenant Insurance Program coverage effective the first (1st) day of the following month.

Our Tenant Insurance Program coverage may be cancelled at any time by providing proof of a qualifying personal insurance policy. The personal policy will take effect in place of our coverage the following month.

Tenants are responsible for providing an updated copy of their personal insurance policy, including the declaration page, upon expiration of their current policy. If updated proof of insurance is not provided by the last day of the month in which the policy expires, the tenant will automatically be enrolled in our minimum insurance coverage effective the first (1st) day of the following month to ensure the storage unit remains insured.

No refunds or credits will be issued if proof of personal insurance, including the declaration page, is provided after the first (1st) day of the month.

Call Recording

You acknowledge that telephone calls to or from Big Tex Storage may be monitored and recorded and you agree to such monitoring and recording.

Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions

Occasionally, information provided on our website or other related platforms may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including those related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, availability, or other rental information.

We reserve the right to correct, update, or modify any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel or modify a rental, reservation, or payment if any information provided is found to be inaccurate, including after a reservation, rental, or payment has been submitted.

We are not obligated to honor any rental, reservation, promotional offer, price, or other transaction that contains an error, inaccuracy, or omission.

You agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or our online services shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of Texas, in each case located in the City of Houston, Harris County. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
